Dr. Ogunmola's Lab

Ask questions. Build answers.

Hi, I'm Dr. Oluwaseun Ogunmola, a scientist at heart. I love running experiments and building things, mostly in software and technology.

This is my lab: where ideas get tested, and where the ones that work come to live.

How I work

Every build goes round the same five-step loop.

  1. Notice

Spot a real problem that real people have.

  2. Hypothesise

Make a testable guess about what would help.

  3. Build

Make the smallest thing that can test the guess.

  4. Test

Put it in front of the people it's for, and measure.

  5. Learn

Keep what works, drop what doesn't, go again.

Things I've built

Each one started life as an experiment.

AiiA: Artificial Intelligence in Africa

A pan-African initiative helping Africans learn and apply AI, through bootcamps, free courses and e-books, and programmes for schools, women and small businesses.

The experiment: can affordable, hands-on AI training put the tools in the hands of every African community, not just the tech hubs?

The next experiment is brewing
